HOME for Jonathan Worswick is San Diego. But since last July he has been living in Manhattan, first in one hotel and now in another -- Plaza 50, at Third Avenue and 50th Street. His employer, Advanced Information Resources, a San Diego-based software company, sent him here with a few colleagues to tend to the computer needs of a handful of commercial banks. He came expecting to be on the job for three months, but the stay has been extended twice, and now is expected to run at least until July.
