Tip - How Can I Avoid Getting Screwed When Selling on Craigslist?

Dear Lifehacker, I've just started selling on Craigslist and it's a little overwhelming. I keep getting lowball offers, half of the emails I get seem like scams, and I'm just worried about meeting up with an untrustworthy person. What can I do to avoid getting screwed when selling on Craigslist?
