USB (Universal Serial Bus) 2.0 is a significantly faster version of USB 1.1. Determining which you have is not at all obvious. But it is fairly easy.

USB 3.0 is about 10 times faster than USB 2.0, making it a terrific upgrade, and a great way to save time by cutting down on file transfer times. Unfortunately, most computers in use today don’t have integrated USB 3.0 ports.
