If you ever need to get rid of static cling quickly while on the go, simply run the article of clothing through a metal hanger to dispel the static or place lotion on your skin underneath the clothes you are wearing to get rid of the dryness that is causing the static cling. To get rid of static cling while doing laundry, place a damp washcloth in the dryer and take out the laundry load before the clothes are completely dry so they retain some dampness that will eliminate any possibility of static cling.
