permalink Members of the rhythm-and-blues group TLC and lawyers for LaFace Records and Pebbitone Inc., which brought the group to public attention in the early 1990's, signed a settlement this weekend, ending a yearlong battle over how the fruits of TLC's success should be divided. The settlement includes a confidentiality clause barring comment on the financial details or other specifics of the agreement. It also releases TLC from all contractual obligations with Pebbitone, the group's former manager and producer.
