How can you prevent your dog from chasing horses? Train him appropriately. Bad behaviors of antagonizing horses can get a dog killed--stomped on or kicked hard enough to kill him or her. Introduce dogs slowly to horses and make sure good behavior is demonstrated before letting a dog off leash around horses.
