How to Promote Healthy Eating Habits in Kids

My kids love sweet treats, chocolates, candies, cakes, pies - you name it. But whenever I make veggies they aren't really interested. I want some tips on how I can bring them in the habit of eating healthy food and a balanced diet. If it helps, my kids are 8 and 10.

Tip 1 - Invest in a Juicer

Invest in a Juicer

As a father of 2, me and my wife were going through the same drama - we realized there is no use forcefully trying to get the kids to eat there greens so we made it more interesting for them... there mother cuts up the vegetables and both of them put it in the blender as the "fun moment" watching it blend.

Then I try to set a competition, who can complete the glass the fastest... for the first few times I joined in the competition going slow and making one of them win but now its the 2 kiddies going at it and I'm thankful I invested in a juicer as getting your vegetables in is very important.

Tip 2 - Play with your veggies! Not literally but create characters out of them and have fun

"When fruits and vegetables are on the menu, kids might play with their food more than eat it. To make a compromise, try letting your kids play with their food and design his or her fruit and vegetable art."
