How to apply 301 redirect to a page in Wordpress

My wordpress blog had several articles on one topic and I recently combined them to make one complete article. I was reading that having the same content on different pages is seen as duplication by search engines and the right way to do it is by applying a 301 redirect. The thing is, I'm new to wordpress and have no idea how to redirect the old articles to the new one, so I need some help from someone who has done this before. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

The syntax for 301 redirects is pretty simple. Make sure you have an access to your htaccess file and just follow these simple steps and redirect any page on your Wordpress site to anywhere else you want.

This plugin gives you the option to edit a page and add a redirection location, the kind of redirect you want and whether it is temporary or permanent. Check the link I am sharing.

Tip 3 - Use the Redirection Plugin for WordPress

Simple go to the plugin website download it and upload to your wordpress plugin directory and install through wordpress dashboard. Once its installed insert the url you wish to redirect in "Source URL" and the page where you want the visitors and bots to go in "Target URL". Hope this will work for you
