Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men worldwide, and the sixth leading cause of cancer-related death. Globally, there are approximately 1,100,00 new cases and 300,000 mortalities every year, comprising 4 percent of all cancer deaths. It is estimated that 1 in every 6 men will be diagnosed with the disease during his lifetime.
