Tips On Cleaning Appliances

I was wondering if there are any proper tips for cleaning appliances in the kitchen and around the house in general. If you have a special way of cleaning them, please share.

Appliances like toasters, sandwich makers and electric grills shouldn't be cleaned shortly after use. Wait for them to cool down before you wipe them clean. Similarly, don't get on with cleaning any appliance while it is plugged into the main power supply.

When you want to clean out your fridge remove everything from it, including the trays and any food. Now use a fiber cloth with baking soda on it to wipe the insides of the fridge. This will remove any odors and stains.

Your microwave is probably one of the most used appliances everyday, which is why you should pay special attention to cleaning it. Make sure you turn it off and wipe the insides clean. But also remember to remove the turn table clean the wheels under it and the turntable itself. Often the underside of the turntable has food residue you don't notice otherwise.
