Tips for Keeping Cat Hair off Clothes and Bed

Tip 1 - Discourage your cat from camping in your room

Don't spoil your cat, keep it out of your room if you want to really keep hair off your clothes.

Tip 2 - Keep a Portable Vaccum Cleaner With You

Vaccum cleaners are very effective with pet hair. Just get a portable cleaner and keep it solely for the purpose of picking up hair from your bed and clothes.

Tip 3 - Use a Lint Brush

Lint brushes are great for getting cat and dog hair off your clothes. Just lightly brush your clothes when you get ready.

Tip 4 - Steam woolen clothes to loosen up hair

If your woolen clothes get cat hair the best way to remove them is to use a steamer. You can also hang the clothes in a steam room. The damp steam will get the hair out and you can easily brush them off then.

Tip 5 - Use a sticky clothes roller or packing tape

You can buy a sticky clothes roller to remove cat hair by rolling it over your clothes. An easy way to to do this is to get packing tape, wrap it around your hands and rub the sticky side over your clothes to remove the hair.

Tip 6 - Wash clothes or sheets with car hair seperately

When it comes to washing clothes which have cat hair on them, you should do them separately from the rest and without crowding the washing machine. Give space to your clothes so that the hair can be washed off and drained.
