Pain management medications include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), corticosteroids, acetaminophen, opioids, muscle relaxants, anti-anxiety drugs, antidepressants, and anticonvulsant drugs. Different classes of pain management medications have different mechanisms of action.
